Minnadi Nadar of Mallankinaru

The God of the poor people of Mallankinaru Village

Thiru Minnadi Nadar who took several efforts to establish MNMSPS School, Mallankinar

By - Dr.P.Karuppanan M.A.Ph.D

Thiru.K.P.M.Minnadi Nadar is the ever divine light of Mallankinar. He was born in a poor family. He had minimum education and a very little financial condition. With his untried toil and the sustainable support of the distinguished persons in the society and of the high government officials, he got a position which was appreciated by all. He rendered many selfless services like Kamaraj, the great leader of India. Not only did he like the good life of nadars but also liked the same to the people of other communities.

No one could either refuse or reject that many great personalities like Mr.M.S.P.S.Baskar B.A, Mr.M.S.P.S.Raja B.Com., Virudhunagar and a bus owner Mr.K.S.Shanmugavel Nadar and a Tahsildar, Mr.Mailerinathan, Aruppukottai had made him to reach such a reputable position. It is not an excessive statement that these luminaries had shown him many best guidance’s to his victorious social and public activities, bailing unbounded financial support out to him to fulfill his demands for the other needy people without considering the time, place and the matter with which he meekly appeared before them. Moreover he had also learnt some best tenets for his personal life. (He dedicated his life for the sake of MNMSPS School, Mallankinar. He passed away in 1976).

Thiru.Minnadi Nadar got from great kind-hearted donors the financial assistances and school material for the children. This swamy worked hard for founding the M.S.P.Senthil Kumara Nadar High School, Local Public Library, and Telephone Connection to the Post Office, Mallankinar Railway Station, Iyyanar Spinning Mills and the Hindu Match Factory in Mallankinar. As a result of his good activities these organizations and the people therein have been developing in different shape and color day to day.

It was his dream that the M.S.P.Senthil Kumara Nadar School should be upgraded as higher Secondary School. His dream was not fulfilled till his expiry (Now the school is a full-fledged Higher Secondary School).

Long lives the Name of Minnadi Swamy ….!!! (Translated from Tamil Dr.P.Karuppanan M.A.Ph.D)
