Eral Chairman God II

CHAIRMAN SRI SRI ARUNACHALA SWAMY:

In the Natural Geographical Wonder Amman Puram Locality, was a born a Great Sage and Mahan called “Arunachalam”

Arunachala was born as a first son to the Couple Ramasamy Nadar -Sivananaindhammal in Melapudhukkudy on 2nd October, 1880. He had one brother and two sisters. Ramasamy Nadar –Sivananaindhammal has the sayings from a Siva Gnani about the birth of his wise & Divine son and they also offered prayers at Chettiapathu Eindhu Veettu swamy (famous for worship all the community people and Samabandhi bhojanam) due to the delay in their siblings to their family.

Later Ramasamy nadar family shifted to Eral after the death of his mother. Eral is about 7 km north of Kurumbur and 6 km west of Attur. He exhibited interest in spirituality from childhood and continued a yogic life at very early stage of his youth. He got to read the Bible in depth during his schooling at Missionary school in Pannaivizhai / Sayarpuram. On his own interest, he acquired Tamil Sangam and Hindu Dharma scripts and learnt them extensively. He had the experise paractice of the medicinal treatment for poisonous bites by serpants to the people of his locality. With the recommendations of Christian priests, the British collectorate appointed him at a very young age as Village MuniChief for SiruthondaNallur village which he conducted for 8 years. On seeing his leadership and service to the society irrespective of any caste & religious barriers, he was appointed as Chairman of Eral at the age of 25, by British collectorate. His sister had been married off to a Christian Nadar family and he advised his sister to follow the practices in her husband's house.

It is believed that from the young age, he possessed Trikala Gnanam, the extent of his life time and 8 days before his Samadhi, he could predict his end to come at the age of 28. He informed his brother Karuthapandia Nadar in advance about his request to place him in Samadhi under the Banyan Tree.. Chairman Arunachala Swamy got into the Samadhi on 29th July, 1908 .


Healing Power of Chairman Swamy temple:

Places of worships in Tamil Nadu are located in Forests of Hills ( ie Mada kovil), Kovil near Solais & water ponds, river banks or seashores. Similarly, Eral Chairman Sri Arunachala Swamy Samadhy too is situated on the green banks of Tamiraparany.

This temple falls under the category “Aala Kovil” ie. located under a great banyan tree (Aala Maram). Banyan tree is a symbol of growth and development and has capability to shelter a huge gathering of human society.

The swimming ghat of Tamiraparani at Eral is called “Chairman thruai” and the divine water resource” content is called “Sarva Roha Nivarana Theertham”. The Samadhi land which drives away the various diseases of people is called as “Nila Kappu”. People of all caste and religion flock to Chairman Swamy temple on firm belief over healings of physical and mental diseases of affected people.
